PPR-C (polypropylene random copolymer, also written PP-R or PPR) is a plastic made for hot and cold water pipes. It does not corrode or scale, is suitable for drinking water, and is joined by heat fusion into one leak-free system.
PN10 suits cold water at low pressure, PN16 cold water in taller buildings, PN20 hot and cold water, and PN25 high-pressure or high-temperature lines. PN ratings apply to water at 20 °C; at higher temperatures the allowable pressure falls, so ask our technical team to size hot-water systems.
Pipes from 20 to 110 mm outside diameter: 20 mm = ½”, 25 = ¾”, 32 = 1″, 40 = 1¼”, 50 = 1½”, 63 = 2″, 75 = 2½”, 90 = 3″, 110 = 4″. Welding fittings cover 20 to 63 mm, and fittings with brass inserts go up to 2″.
Standard pipes are one PPR-C layer. Multilayer pipes have three PPR-C layers (green, white, green) for extra dimensional stability. Glass fiber reinforced pipes add a red middle layer of PPR-C and glass fiber that reduces thermal expansion — the right choice for hot water, risers and long runs.
UV stabilized pipes, whose black outer layer protects the pipe from sunlight. For hot water on a roof, choose reinforced & UV stabilized pipes.

They are made to DIN 8077/8078, ISO 15874 and Egyptian Standard ES 3703, and have been tested by national bodies including the National Research Centre and the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality.
By socket heat fusion: the pipe and fitting are heated with a welding tool and pushed together, fusing into one piece. No glue, solvent or thread is needed. To connect to taps, meters or equipment, use our fittings with brass inserts.
